Should a Digital Marketer Teach ?

Should a digital marketer teach to business owners how to go about in promoting the business or should he/she be a business associate ??

This question has been on my mind for a bit., Any business owner would have a lot of things to do on a daily basis in terms of #maintaining the business, getting clients, product issues, Sales returns, #staff management, #property management and may be a lot more things.

So i was of the opinion that whatever training the digital marketer may give to the business owner he/she will not have the time to sit and do digital marketing. As soon as I tell this to business owners they get furious but the fact of the matter is just that.

I would like to know your views on this, Please comment so I can broaden my understanding.
